Our Surf Pendant Necklace is orned with a silver surfboard charm inlaid with two waves. This pendant honors the two most memorable waves you have ever surfed!
Surfing was born in the Pacific and more particularly in northern Polynesia, in Hawaii, where it has been practiced since the 15th century.
The explorer James Cook was one of the first to discover this practice among Polynesians, who used long boards carved from a tree trunk. They called this practice He'e nalu, or "sliding on the wave" in Hawaiian.
